...off to lala-land.
(or some would say)
My favorite fantasy author besides J.R.R.Tolkien is defo Robin Hobb...the world, the characters, the creatures...the fates she weaves...unprecedented!
I'm currently devouring "City of Dragons"...and of course her take on dragon history, genesis and lore is something out of any world I have ever dived into!
Even if I initially found and followed the recommendation for "The Farseer Trilogy" from a long time favorite illustrator of mine, namely John Howe, I must have the versions illustrated by Jackie Morris.
There's just nothing like it out there.
